The next crisis needing an immediate AND correct answer is approaching like a bullet from space, We, the people, CANNOT afford another muff That will be the end.
Life itself, what is it worth? More than any silly conspiracies? The second amendment covers the sane as well as the insane, we are not as vocal and take the training as serious.
Never much cared for grown men playing kids games, but I understand the need for entertainment and tradition. A distraction in time of crisis, yes, but despite the ridiculous amounts of capital wasted on professional sports, a little distraction that is missed from a life that seems so long ago.
I can’t believe so many are worried about sports instead of worrying about the life of families and when this insanity will stop! STUNADS! F-in GROW UP!
To all the anal-ysts commenting about baseball. Sometimes a cartoon is simply a metaphor. This one is a good way of illustrating the point that the US was unprepared for what is a very large, fast moving, disaster,
I will extend that by saying that Trump put the US in that position by downplaying the severity of the problem.

Sadly apt.

I just watched the mass burials in New York. Americans are being laid in a ditch like we saw in Iran last week.
Hey fella, if you are worried about a damn game played by a bunch of overpaid clowns when that is going down…Va fangool !

No outfielder ever called the ball a hoax after it was hit into his part of the outfield.

Mr. Bennett knows it’s not a game. I think the player represents all of the US. Nobody is playing for a while.

Is that right-wing alt-reality able to change the SARS-CoV-2 virus into the seasonal flu virus?

The one thing you don’t want any “player” shouting right now:
“I GOT IT! I GOT IT!”

Wait a minute. Baseball players are already “Social Distanced” except in the Locker room.
Just hose them down after the game instead and they can play safely.
Oh, and let the players sit in the empty grandstands when they aren’t actually playing. There’s plenty of room for them to spread out.

From the MLB Assn/Fans perspective, this is spot on; in the grand scheme of things, not so much.
