For a couple of years I had a talking scale that allowed you to set your target weight, and when you got on it spoke your weight, then “X above target weight of (number)” or “at or below your target weight” to help you remember whether you like it or not. It disappeared for some reason. Seeing the cartoon today I went to Amazon to see if it was still available— and never made it below the fourth listing, a talking scale good for 700 pounds. I feel I can remain without a scale.
