A toast to America!

Someone at Apple saw this cartoon and created a screen saver based on it …

Sadly, the wild toasters of the Caribbean soon became extinct, hunted for their cords, which were briefly fashionable for making bracelets and necklaces. Later, their domesticated European cousins were introduced to the Americas, giving us the bread singeing devices we know today.

Toast anyone? We all are anyways with the turn of events in Recent history

Careful crossbreeding with old world toasters brought about 4 slot toasters and toaster ovens.

The funny thing is, when Columbus took the toasters back to Spain, they had the wrong kind of plug and didn’t work on 220 volts.

“These strange objects are giving me an idea! Oh, yes, it’s a great idea! Maybe the greatest idea since… since EVER!”

Now we finally know where all those Microsoft toasters were flying off to.

They should never have opened all those savings accounts…

Now somebody needs to invent sliced bread.

Meanwhile, a scant forty miles further south, there’s a beach littered with food processors….

I’m thinking it’s the site of an unsuccessful invasion by “Talkie Toasters” from the Red Dwarf universe. Turns out nobody wanted any toast.

Am I the only one who doesn’t get this? And it’s the second time around . . .
