Trump’s lawyers are arguing that the D’s have produced NO witnesses with direct contact with Trump. That’s the strongest argument I’ve heard to call witnesses and since Trump has told all of his men to ignore subpoenas, the best argument for obstruction of justice.
I hope if I ever need a lawyer, it isn’t one of these white males.

I was watching the Republican defense of President Trump yesterday. To accept their premises, you only have to believe one thing. That Donald Trump is an honest man. The scary thing is, there are millions of Americans that do believe it.
The only problem with this is that they’ll certainly speak it. I fervently wish they could keep their mouths shut long enough to let their alleged brains engage. Lies upon rationalizations upon fantasies.
Yup, the Republican party will make sure that any senator that doesn’t vote the party line never advances in their career, and that they will have little help in even keeping their seat in the senate. But 23 of them are up for reelection in 2020. They don’t have the final vote on this— if you believe Trump is guilty, VOTE BLUE.
