I think that will be the defence.. they will admit to the charges.. thus no need for more witnesses or incriminating documents.. and it is not impeachable. So trump walks.

Moscow Mitch also thinks it’s a crime to settle for a bribe lower than what you could have gotten…….

This is the beginning of the end of the Great Experiment that is the US, sadly. I know I personally will never have any confidence again in anything the Senate does, and I suspect that many others will feel the same. When party loyalty is more important than anything else, things fall apart. Just look at what is happening in once-Great Britain…
