Only in a comic strip (or a shrink session) would anyone ask another person a question like that!!

As a colleague says, “Come to work, do what they tell you, collect your check, pay your mortgage.”

When I have to take a drug test, I ask the other person in the room, "when you were a kid and other kids said “I want to be a pilot!” “I want to be a policeman!” “I want to be a doctor!” did you say “I want to collect urine samples!”

Now there is a well-adjusted modern drone… I mean human?

And somewhere, a corporate overlord is smiling.

Nice attitude. I don’t think many people look at their jobs that way anymore.

That office needs to upgrade their copiers…

When I was let go, I used to dream of jobs I did, was a nightmare.

My solution: I avoid WalMart.

As stated above by Templo S.U.D. and others, the job pays the bills, but I get my “fulfillment” in my life away from work (wife, kids, family and friends!).

Don’t knock a paycheck. Maybe the paying job is not fulfilling, but it could be part of the means for finding it.

THINGS COULD BE WORSE.

If I had been told when I was that someday I would work with my own computer and have a bunch of rubber stamps, I would have been sure I would be running the world.
