Jason needs a DeLorean that can go 88 mph… assuming a Mr. Brown and/or a Mr. MacFly can assist with the driving.

My tires can only handle 200 mph. Is there something in your chemistry kit that will improve my tires?

I think Jason has overestimated Peter’s speeding, plus the mechanics of the internal combustion engine, plus a lot of other things.

What kind of car is Peter driving? A Blue Flame?

Peter, the speed limit is posted in miles per hour, not mach.

We have a set of lights about a half block apart. When the first one turns green, the second stays green for 3 seconds and then turns red.

I wondered if it were possible to make that light, so I reverted to high school physics and did the math. I would have to accelerate at 3.2 G’s and would pass the light doing 122 mph. Since I do not drive a rocket sled, I decided not to try it.

This is the kind of things an engineer does for fun. (Figure things out and contemplate building a rocket sled).

Yes, in a former life, I was Jason.

I also know that while jogging, I get 16.4 miles to the gallon of water, an SUV can travel 71.3 feet (enough to get to the next gas pump) on a teaspoon of gas and that if you took a stack of one dollar bills equal to the national debt and laid them end to end, they would reach Uranus.

He should study how Peter eats. It’s even faster.

@dflak And a stack of 1 dollar bills equal to less that my personal debt would easily reach Myanus. ☺

Four digits if he’s adding a decimal point.

Where in the world would he get a vehicle that could “flirt with four”?

Time to connect Jason to the clock tower.

Ignoring the stretch of ‘flirting’ with four, who else is impressed that Peter knew that that 670 million was 9 digits?
