As far as the odds from yesterday, three are paying off:

“6-1: A new kid is thinking about something, or talking with other kids. This kid will be the focus for the winter lameness.” Alexa is not talking or thinking anything, but this is pretty close.

“2-1: One of my spotless, sparkling floors are featured.” Some of my best work, if I do say so myself.

“10-1: Mr Reality gets hit by a car.” I probably should have said, “Spoiler alert!” before you read MUT.

Alexa’s new boyfriend (a transfer from Central City) shanks the offender before he can make into the classroom. Gangbangers in the house!

The Amazon Echo came out five years ago. There’s no mention of Alexa (the student) being a recent transfer. It’s barely possible that someone would be making an “Alexa – open the door” joke for five years. It’s definitely not possible that someone else would still find it funny.
