The Democrats and Independents don’t matter and what the UN or the EU or the rest of the world thinks doesn’t matter to those who believe they’re superior to everyone else and that our constitutional democratic republic should be an authoritarian dynasty instead.

An imitation of Cole Porter’s “Anything Goes,” minus the opening Verse:

    .

In olden days, of Sins called Seven,

Just one was enough to boot you from Heaven.

    Now heaven knows,

    Anything goes.

    .

    When international bribery

    Is accepted diplomatic fee

    To screw election foes,

    Anything goes.

    .

    America seems off track today

Our “Engineer” is a quack today

    Morality’s awful light today

All Congress does is fight today

Trade profits tend toward loss today

Putin seems our real boss today —

Can any more pile on to our woes?

    .

If witness tampering is accepted precedent

    When done by a U. S. president

    It truly shows

    Anything goes.

    In the Throes of Woes – {a rhyme}

Our nation is in the throes

    of Republican-sponsored woes:

√ An emperor without any {clothes} cloes

with √ a yuugely elongated nose

and √ malfeasance from head to toes; -

    - √ a prez whom we oughta depose.

What I’m trying to figure out is that none of the AAPT (All Aryan Party of Trump, formerly known as the GOP) seems to be able to recall anything. “I have no recollection,” “I may have, but I can’t recall at the present time,” and so on. How do those people manage to tie their shoelaces?

But to be fair, Joe Biden, can’t seem to get his memory aligned with reality either. I think he and Sanders are both now past their “Best if Used By” date.

Good point. Russia has already violently stolen sections of Ukraine in an attempt to re-annex it. The failure to provide the designated weaponry to Ukraine was a direct benefit to Russia, not only a way for Trump to self-profit. If Trump pretends that Israel carving the Palestine into multiple isolated islands surrounded by land Israeli settlers have taken is acceptable, it would only be consistent for him to say that helping Ukraine defend itself from Russian incursion is meaningless in his eyes, especially if he considers those stolen portions of the Ukraine to now be part of Russia. Disgusting? Appalling? Counter to what the Republicans had stood by prior to Trumpianism? A complete reversal for the U.S. and counter to U.S. interests? Yes, on all counts. But for Trump it would be consistent.

The settlements are illegal. But frankly, its not as though that matters to anyone. The UN sets rules to be ignored, especially since it stopped being in the perceived interest of its primary defender. Having said that, the settlements are also immoral.

If instant Karma existed, we’d surely have proof by now, just among political “leaders”. Since it doesn’t, it’s really up to the voters to take on the role.
