Just say “yes”, Mark, and leave it at that. Let your guest do the talking. It’s about him.

When I worked in Louisville, KY, my IBM team told me all women needed two names, like Jimmie Ray. I was the only woman on the team at the time and they dubbed me “Janie Jo”! Thanks, Mr. Trudeau, for the reminder of my much younger days!

thudpucker has a ponit about country music. ‘urban’ music that is taking over pop stations is driven by beat not melody and words are often either unintelligible or obscene. you have to listen to country music now a days to get new music you can whistle or sing along to

I always wanted to have a cross-over Country Western/New Age band. I was going to call it Tex Vortex & The Cosmic Cowboys.

I love when the interviewer is forced to say “I ask the questions here.” because the guest is getting too snarky.

There’s good music in all genres (even disco) but one place not to look for it is on the radio.

I recall that back in the 1990’s some singers were labeled as “hat acts”, i.e., they put on a cowboy hat and suddenly they were a C&W artist.
