Notice that none of the Republicans are actually responding to the substance of the charges against Trump, or challenging the testimony of highly-credible witnesses with lifetimes of honorable service, appointed by Republicans and serving under administrations of both parties.

Instead they are whining, whining, whining about the PROCESS.

The Republicans are whining that Democrats are operating in private, not allowing witnesses to coordinate their stories and not allowing Trump to sit in on the investigations (when has the suspect EVER been allowed to participate in investigation of the crime?).

The Republicans are lying and saying they are excluded, although 47 Republicans have access to the private depositions, and have full equal time to ask questions.

And the rules — the process — that they are whining about are rules that were SET BY REPUBLICANS in 2015 to investigate Hillary Clinton and Benghazi, which truly was a witch hunt, and yet Hillary, under their rules, testified for eleven hours, never took the Fifth or refused to provide evidence.

And chief inquisitor Trey Gowdy said that most of their preliminary investigation had been in private depositions.

The private investigative phase will soon been completed, and the impeachment process will move to public hearings, when Republicans will regret having begged to let the public see the damaging evidence.

And Trump will get his day in court, in a senate trial, when he can confront and cross-examine witnesses as prescribed by law and the Constitution.
