Notice that none of the Republicans are actually responding to the substance of the charges against Trump, or challenging the testimony of highly-credible witnesses with lifetimes of honorable service, appointed by Republicans and serving under administrations of both parties.
Instead they are whining, whining, whining about the PROCESS.
The Republicans are whining that Democrats are operating in private, not allowing witnesses to coordinate their stories and not allowing Trump to sit in on the investigations (when has the suspect EVER been allowed to participate in investigation of the crime?).
The Republicans are lying and saying they are excluded, although 47 Republicans have access to the private depositions, and have full equal time to ask questions.
And the rules — the process — that they are whining about are rules that were SET BY REPUBLICANS in 2015 to investigate Hillary Clinton and Benghazi, which truly was a witch hunt, and yet Hillary, under their rules, testified for eleven hours, never took the Fifth or refused to provide evidence.
And chief inquisitor Trey Gowdy said that most of their preliminary investigation had been in private depositions.
The private investigative phase will soon been completed, and the impeachment process will move to public hearings, when Republicans will regret having begged to let the public see the damaging evidence.
And Trump will get his day in court, in a senate trial, when he can confront and cross-examine witnesses as prescribed by law and the Constitution.
Living in an alt-reality and denying the objective truth seems to have affected a portion of society that has created their own interpretations of religion, ethics, morality, and “democracy” that exclude rather than include. Here’s an example showing their concept of diversity:
I just can’t believe that the process set in place by the GOP is now being railed at by the GOP as unfair to the GOP. Thing about rules is, you see, once you make them, you have to abide by them.
If I ever hear a Republican say “transparency” again, I’ll laugh in his face.
Every time you think you’re at the bottom of the crazy Republican dirt barrel, they find a shovel and dig deeper. Get the monkeys off your back by never voting for a Republican.
Every time. EVERY TIME I think they cannot get any lower, they prove me wrong. I’m sorry to see this, because as sure as death and taxes, they’ll come up with a way to get even lower.

Not yet.
That will happen when Trump and Barr defy court orders and there are no appeals left.
And His Disciples will cheer that he is draining the swamp and he is totally exonerated.

Monkey Shines and Evil Designs – {rhyme}
Travesties galore. They’ve got ‘em
down there in their barrel’s bottom, -
- from monkey shines
to evil designs.
{{We’ve long since noted
that we should have voted
for his nemesis, Hillary Rodham.}}

Not even close to the bottom. There is no limit to mankind’s capacity for evil and cruelty. Recent history alone should be proof of that.

Trump Pushes the Envelope [An Exercise in Mixed Metaphors] – {rhyme}
The Donald is yuugely a dope: -
- himSelf is supplying the rope
and himSelf knots the noose
and himSelf cooks his goose.
He slides down a slippery slope.
… Coda:
√ He pushes too far the envelope.
√ To see his brain use a proctoscope.
√ If Trump continues, we’ve got no hope; -
- our nation is simply unable to cope; -
- we’d suffer a horrible horoscope.
