It’s just getting rid of the crust around the edge of the crumb, that is the problem.

I had no idea that Woodstock was the bird who ate the breadcrumbs and got Hansel and Gretel so lost in the woods!

Also probably not great for him.

He’ll change his tune once the snow starts flying …

He’d rather eat birdseed.

At least you get something to eat Woodstock, other birds probably aren’t as lucky!

It’s only degrading when he doesn’t get his tuppence a bag.

With today’s industrial bread, he’s right. I’ve seen wild and domestic birds both reject sliced bread. That tells you something.

Maybe Snoopy could share some of his kibbles.

Big deal. I do all kinds of degrading things.

Bread crumbs are junk food for birds without the protein and bulk of seeds and suet. Stale cheese doodles, however, are the food of the gods according to the squirrels.

Hmm…. I use bread crumbs all the time…. great on Mac-N-Cheese, good in meatballs, etc…. Woodstock must be a “foodie” I guess, and finds the common man’s food beneath him. :)

How does he feel about rice?

Prefer ground macadamia instead..?

But it’s free food. Which is why you better get it before the squirrels do.

Don’t worry Woodstock, Snoopy will have a word with that round-headed kid and get you some high quality birdseed and suet.
