Now thanks to Marigold, we have to be even more specific about corn.

Few things beat freshly cooked corn on the cob, all slathered and dripping with butter. Just make sure you keep a toothpick or some floss handy!

Corn is classified as a type of grass, so Marigolds previous comments on what she intended to eat are consistent.

Unicorns are cool.

If “corn” is short for “unicorn” and “maze” is a homonym of “maize,” referring back to corn of course, then saying “corn maze” could be reasonably interpreted as “unicorn unicorn.”

So there’s one thing both Marigold and Phoebe can agree is good to eat. Raw corn right out of the husk is pretty good. Why isn’t Phoebe indulging herself?

The last restaurant maze I encountered was the queue line at the Golden Corral.

Is it me, or has this week been a bit corny?

What I like better than regular ol’ yellow corn is fresh maze… the kind with purple and red and orange and yellow kernels. It is far “meatier” and tastier. Can make an entire meal on one ear and be totally satisfied. This yellow “junk food” corn they’ve bred over the years is just no comparison to the original… before scientists got their silly paws into it just so they could grow more, faster and cheaper.

Okays, done soapboxing. For now. bwahahahahaha….
