So, it seems that we have finally met what I assume is the real villain of this story, “Mrs. Clair Howell,” hard at work in her home, and I’m guessing that “Jimmy” here is probably “Mr. Howell.” It looks to me as if they are both smoking cigars and it seems that she goes through a lot of them.

I wonder about the dog on the TV, but I can’t place it.

That is one rough and tough looking “adoption agency” there!!

Tracy had been remiss of his duties. He had no idea that this is happening in his city.

I’ve never understood why nearly every Tracy villain has to smoke. It just makes them look like common junkies instead of real threats to the MCU.

In panel 2, it looks like Annie’s dog Sandy has her own TV show now.

Why do crooks, even women, in the Tracy comic, smoke?
