I can see why. Those are some mighty hoity-toity-looking gloves. You want those to be seen.

Ethel would like to put them away for Harry, but then he would walk funny.

Ethel would like to get going. They are going to be late for a performance of the Ballard Trombone and Xylophone Octet.

Good heavens, those gloves would fit godzilla. How can he…oh, he takes them off then. Heh heh, silly me.

Ethel is thinking, “I’m going to be getting soooo even with Harriet for setting me up on a blind date with this guy.”

Gives new meaning to the phrase “when the gloves come off”.

Just wait until he throws down the gauntlet.

Does distract from the romance.. that might have been.

Those are some gloves. He needs to carry a special “glove bag”. If she doesn’t like it, “no glove, no love”. :) :) :)

Harry fits the insult, “He’s all hat and no cattle,” except in his case, he only has the gloves without a hat, boots, spurs, or cattle.

Ethel is so sour because there’s nothing more embarrassing than having a husband with a cooler fashion sense.

I worry about Harry, Margo thinks to herself.

Ethel thinks it is time she put Harry away.
