Edna, who lives next door, says it’s no big deal.

That’s something I can’t unsee.

Of course, naturally, wearing a hat makes all the difference. In quantum physics a wave can not resolve itself back into a particle unless it’s being watched. My question is: does it make any difference if the observer wore a hat?

Ballard County Sheriff’s Department policy is to leave him alone, unless he’s causing a disturbance.

His appearance might be a bit disturbing to some people…

But he’s in his own yard, not attempting to stop anyone or talk to any minors.

This might be cause for arrest in many places, but we try to take a tolerant view, here on Ballard Street.

Innocent unless you do something that makes you guilty of a crime.

But don’t worry…. we’re keeping an eye on him.

I hereby file an appeal to the Ballard planning commission on the subject of fence height limits. I request an exception to the 4’ maximum height limit on Ballard St. I think 4’ should be the minimum, with an 8’ requirement on this particular property.

I keep my blinds opened to the mess next door…I’ll be damned if I’ll live in the dark because of my inconsiderate and trashy neighbors yard! I’ve decided to get a fence but when I’m in my family room I can still see their garbage all over. They’re disgusting! This is a very nice neighborhood and they’re the only ones with a garbaged yard.
