Anyone else ever told you had to eat the fortune cookie before reading the fortune for the fortune to be true?I always wondered how you would read the fortune if you ate the cookie with the fortune inside.

I’m old enough to remember when fortune cookies actually had fortunes in them. Now, it’s just platitudes and lottery numbers.
