I’ve been forcefully requested to stop that when whistling while working. Of course it was actually management’s fault for putting all the programmers into one big room without even cubbies. I would have been more inclined toward agreeing to be quiet if the folks around me hadn’t been so inclined to break out into nerf-gun battles and other disruptive behavior when I was trying to concentrate.
