It’s been a while since we’ve had such a blatant Monday recap of the weekend, but it’s necessary because a significant number of newspapers don’t print the Sunday strip and some don’t even publish a Sunday paper. If you started those readers off with whatever happens after the shooting, it wouldn’t make much sense to them.

For those of you who might be wondering where Annie and company live now, I’ve been checking into it. At the end of the rescue from the island, Oliver told Annie that they were going to settle down in Limbo Lake. Annie asked if he meant where Spike and Sally Spangle lived and Oliver mentioned that he had grown up with Spike as his friend.
It was 1943 and Warbucks and his entourage were off fighting the enemy on the Chinese front and Annie was staying near a Spanish castle on the American coast (too hard to explain here). Anyway, she set up a troop of Junior Commandos to patrol the castle and discovered three Nazi u-boats were hiding deep under the river and in a secret pool under the castle. Annie ended up being taken hostage in one of the u-boats and it wasn’t till Warbucks and Punjab, etc., arrived on a short visit back to the U.S. on a secret mission, that she was completely safe from the Nazis.
He decided to send her to stay with his friends in Gooneyville.

After arriving in the small town, Annie came to call her hosts Uncle Spike and Aunt Sally.

Annie met most of the town citizens after church the next Sunday and she soon started a new unit of the J.C.s in her new home, but the kids were doing enough work for three times their numbers. One of Annie’s J.C.s suggested that there were more kids in the Limbo Lake addition, though they were a tough sort.

The new kids in the shanty neighbourhood didn’t accept her at first, but she soon put a stop to that behaviour.
They probably didnt run todays strip because they read my comment yesterday and knew i was spot on with the “Chattin’ With Patton” thing.. its been sent to mike and joe for a revamp, lol
three panels, one with tracy leaving HQ, one with Garbage Man’s fly covered hand shootiing, and one with tracy grimacing… thats it.. nothing more. File this one under the category of……..
1- A polar bear crosses one of the remaining ice flows in a blinding snow storm. Meanwhile in another part of the world… 2- …a sea creature disappears into a dark cave in the darkest depths of the Marianas Trench. Meanwhile, presumably still lying near death in the gutter of a rain soaked street… 3- TRACY: HEY! WHO TURNED OUT THE LIGHTS?
Whats everybody crabbing about!!! It got here finally!!! And I think Tracy’s playing possum, maybe??? Not sure!!! I guess Amazons Cyber Monday broke everything up on the net!!!

I also saw today’s strip on seattlepi…Then, I came here and got the “broken picture” icon in place of the strip…
Frankly, I was confused by Sunday’s strip as it doesn’t seem to be attached to the BB Eyes story or the teased " Doc" story…
I think that somehow BB Eyes issued a “hit” or “fatwa” if you prefer on Tracy… Daddy Warbucks would be stupid to do so…
