I’m not sure what’s more shocking: that Zonker didn’t know he couldn’t retire until 65, or how much money he thinks he’s going to get from Social Security.

It’s a RETIREMENT community, not a vacation community. You have to do the work first.

You are going to have to get a better job if you want to retire early Zonker.

Now the sudden drive on Zonker’s part to become a number in “the system” makes a little more sense. Can’t collect disability or workmen’s compensation unless you’re paying into those systems. Course, it takes longer than a couple of weeks to become eligible, but Z would clearly not know that.

The Z Man has passed that road marker, he must be 69 or 70; raking in the green by selling the green these days. Who needs a pension with a gig like that?

Work is to much trouble. Retire first, then find a real job.

Zonker is ahead of his time. Today he could travel to Seattle. Its been renamed “Free-attle” because of all the free stuff homeless people get there.

If he wants minimal Soc Sec that can be 62 – full anywhere from 65-67 depending on B-Day – and max credit not til 70.

67 for full Social Security and it won’t be enough to live on.

“I wonder what Pension DB is speaking of?”

The one mentioned in yesterday’s strip.
