No, we need the special counsel’s report to be released in it’s entirety, so that we can see for ourselves the conclusions and the reasons for those conclusions by the special counsel. What we know for certain is that Trump and Barr fighting tooth and nail to stop us seeing the whole report. I somehow don’t think that’s because they don’t want the world to see how innocent Trump is.

Senate: “Did Mr. Trump fully cooperate with the special counsel’s inquiry?”

    Barr: “Yeah, he fully cooperated.”

Mr. Trump refused to sit down for an interview with investigators.

In his written responses, the president stated on more than 30 occasions that he had no memory of what they were asking about.

Answers he did provide were “incomplete or imprecise.” according to the special counsel’s report.

The report documented 10 episodes of obstruction, including attempts to end the inquiry or remove Mr. Mueller.

Senate: “Mr. Mueller found the written answers to be inadequate. Is that correct?”

Barr: “I think he wanted additional, but he never sought it.”

    Mueller report, page 417:

“Beginning in December 2017, this office sought for more than a year to interview the president on topics relevant to both Russian election interference and obstruction of justice.”

Senate: “In this case [the firing of Director Comey] the president was relying at least in part on a recommendation by the Deputy Attorney General Rosenstein?”

    Barr: “That’s right.”

    Mueller report, page 274:

“Mr. Trump decided to fire Comey before receiving advice or a recommendation from the Department of Justice. The White House Counsel’s Office agreed that it was factually wrong to say that the Department of Justice had initiated Comey’s termination.”

Senate: “Did you have a problem with the way Comey handled the Clinton email investigation?”

Barr: “Yes. I said so at the time.” [October 2016]

“James Comey Did the Right Thing” — William Barr, October 31, 2016

Barr: “He [Mr. Mueller] argued for putting out summaries of each volume, the executive summaries that had been put together by his office.”

Mueller: “There is now public confusion about critical aspects of the results of our investigation.”

“Boys, you bet on a dead horse.” I initially meant the investigation, but Bad Orange Man’s opponent now also comes to mind.

I’m looking forward to the entire report coming out (minus the grand jury testimony which is legally-required to remain sealed….don’t like that – change the law). I’m also looking forward to the ENTIRE FISA warrant justifications being released, as well as ALL of the emails, texts and voicemails of the co-conspirators, errrr, participants of the pre-special counsel investigative teams. Yes, release every single shred of evidence/justification from late 2015 on. Let the light of truth shine on this whole situation. Right, got it. Orange Man bad. Get the emotion out of the conversation and prove why (he said just before the barrage of flamers set upon him).

Much like the GOP, forming one investigative committee after another just because they don’t like and or want something to happen….they would be horrified if they were the target, but it’s okay for them to obstruct justice when it’s convenient for their purposes…..

This would all go away if the tRump would stop refusing to provide the testimony and true evidence of his complete and total innocence. (Yeah, I gagged a little when I typed that)

maybe, just maybe, if the Trump administration would not be known for all the lies they have put out(especially your president) then maybe we could have trust in the government again

No, what we need is a special counsel to investigate the conclusion of the AG.

There needs to be an investigation into the collusion of Barr and the trump / Whitehouse / trumps lawyers / Republican Senate.

Never understand why folks oppose investigations. I don’t trust any if them. Investigate them all. I want them all to know that we are always watching.

The Left? Ramirez misread the memo:

‘Investigate the investigators’ is new Trump rallying cry to counter Mueller report

The Republicans have adopted, for nearly 30 years, a single strategy… to paraphrase, George Wallace, “Obfuscation now, obfuscation, tomorrow, obfuscation forever!”
