You don’t see any celebs supporting it do you, just vicious Republicans.

Controlling what a woman or a man chooses to do with their own body is so far outside of the government’s duties it’s not even an issue. Just another tried & un-true political football.

People who think they are being moral and compassionate with right-to-life are being used as pawns by Republicans — currently the most immoral and cruel movement in American history.

So Varvel believes that editorial cartooning amounts to no more than drawing insulting caricatures of people whose opinions he disagrees with. Can I get a Pulitzer for drawing Varvel as fat with a really big nose?

This is simple. Unless it is your own uterus, you don’t get to make the choice.

‘No Celebrities’: Embarrassing Turnout at Trump’s Beverly Hills Fundraiser

Tickets for the event allegedly started at $15,000 and went as high as $150,000.

The event, whose location was leaked to TMZ, drew a tiny crowd, with four flag-clad supporters in MAGA hats, and 10 protesters holding a banner that read “TRUMP AND PENCE MUST GO.”

The section cordoned off for protesters was labeled the “Free Speech Zone.”

Once we have a cradle to grave healthcare system to care for those born with chronic limitations, fewer people would have to consider abortions … no one I have ever met wants to have an abortion, but have to make a painful personal choice based on their circumstances or religious beliefs.

I keep getting the feeling that those who want to force women to have children are part of the 60% who cannot pass a US citizenship test and feel that their unAmerican authoritarian theocratic personal views should be imposed on the rest of the world.

Having the right to personal choices is why many of our families came to the US. We don’t want to destroy those rights because of an intolerant religious group that power-seeking politicians are now exploiting for their exclusive personal gain.

This “heartbeat” is happening in a bit of developing tissue that eventually will become a heart if all goes well. Yes, it contracts rhythmically, but it is not functioning as a heart since it will only develop the chambers and circulatory system much later. The claim that this is a heartbeat has about as much reality as the claim that a firing neuron constitutes a brain. It’s the basic intellectual dishonesty of this regulation that drives me nuts. If you want to claim that all abortion is immoral, have the honesty and strength to say so, but don’t pin it to fake heartstrings arguments that are emotionally but not factually derived.

One could go with the Bible on this issue. Neither Moses, Jesus, nor Paul, or anyone else ever said anything against abortion so they were obviously ok with it. Further, the Bible is perfectly clear that the soul enters the body with the first breath.

But it’s much more fun to do as the Republicans do: write their own bible to match their personal beliefs. Makes it a better campaign issue that way.

Well, if them celebrities are protesting something, then it MUST be a good law, right?

Anything that makes them libtard heads explode is obviously great.

    .

And all forms of birth control are the same as abortion, which is exactly the same as infanticide, right?

The left’s fight for abortions would be better spent on supporting easy access to IUDs, although presently with the ACA you should be able to get one for little or no cost. Unfortunately a lot of people only think of that after the fact.

Death’s got no beef with this bill, or with the Republicans. Just about everything they do leads to the best kind of deaths—of people who’ve had time to have hopes and aspirations, only to have all that dashed. Do it just right, and they take a bunch of others with them.

I sometimes have to wonder how many of these anti abortion males have paid for an abortion because their side pieces did not use birth control.

^ So you actually believe there are all kinds of people out there that say, “Hey, let’s go get pregnant just so we can have an abortion ‘cause it’s so much FUN.”

    Really?

I don’t like most of those folks but in this case I agree with at least part of their protest.

This bill is far too restrictive. I would prefer to see a viability based time limitation. Not viability with machines and such, but viability WITHOUT medical measures required to sustain life.

In simple terms abortion you be legal ad available up to the point where a preemie could live with just warmth, food, etc.

The guy on the right (our right) is just a hanger-on. He isn’t just against that “heartbeat” bill; he protests against all forms of “regulation”.

It’s interesting that the Right Wing wants to control an embryo inside a woman’s body (along with the woman), yet wants to deny her the prenatal care to ensure that if she wants to keep it, it will be born healthy. After she gives birth, these same people also want to deny the woman and the newborn any further care, saying it’s her problem and they can’t afford to pay for either. It’s all just forced birth and nothing else.

^ It’s quite easy to understand, really. Taking care of children costs us money, but stopping women from having abortions doesn’t.

People who think making abortion illegal will end abortion are stupid. We had it before Roe and we will have it after Roe. Hide your coat hangers. Remember how the drug war ended drugs.
