Kaboodle does have to worry about the thermometer. Ever since she was a kitten, they have never been able to get a temp from her that way, since she keeps darting away and they can’t get good enough “contact”. So the vet doesn’t even try anymore- as long as she seems otherwise healthy, they just skip the temp. It’s been working so far.
