Did they tell him not to let fear and common asense stop him from doing anything stupid? If the gorilla was wearing gloves, he’d have a pretty good chance; but if they went at it bare knuckled, Tyson would get his butt handed to him and would be lucky if he was alive.
Mike, look up the results of chimpanzee attacks on humans; and they’re about 1/3 the size of a gorilla; although gorillas are probably less aggressive than chimps.
Without saying where and when nostalgia was considered a disorder, this statement doesn’t make much sense. Was it in Greece 2500 years ago? In Thailand 200 years ago? In Germany 1933-1945? In New York until 1970? In the whole western world? Wikipedia’s entry on nostalgia says “described as a medical condition—a form of melancholy—in the Early Modern period”, which is not precise either, but indicates that we are probably talking about some parts of Europe in some timeframe between 1450 and 1800. This seems to be a bit contradicted by the further statement that the term nostalgia was coined only in 1688 in Switzerland as a synonym to “homesickness”.

Most “pests” will ignore this monster, like maggots, bugs, ants, termites… you might terrify your neighbours, though.
