This strip was originally from 4/2/1972, moved to coincide with Easter 2019. Like all of the recolored Sunday strips on GoComics, the original second panel is left out (for no particular reason that I can tell).
I wonder if it would have been worse if The Easter Beagle tossed Charlie Brown a dyed egg, only to miss his target and then realize it was raw and have it crack open at Charlie Brown’s feet.
