Huntz and Heinz…….Huntz is really tough…he’s got a toothpick.

I think I smell a “snipe hunt”.

It’s odd that in this comic, with its past, there would be this group of like-minded students of a very similar age and also their similar, rather humanly adolescent, heights.

Well, at least if the bug flies ahead, Huntz and Hines can ketchup.

It’s because of Chic’s size that Duffy wanted him. Irving will be the real advantage.

Kids like these always made me feel nervous and I’m female. I smell bullying.

Let me guess… There’s some valuable treasure hidden in that area, and Chic is just small enough to crawl in and get it.

“Mission”?? What mission? Chic thought it was just “go to the beach and get a tape recording of the ghost’s wailing” and now there are two others involved. So…. has Duffy invited two of his cronies for a good laugh if Chic fails to return with the recording? Or are we looking at a classic scenario of a planned heist with the child sent to do the stealing?

Chic is bait for something

I hope that Chic isn’t the “bait”.

Time for Chic to learn his place. That’s first.

Irving looks diminished..

Both Chic and Irving look concerned.

Do they plan to turn him into a chicken nugget and eat him? I thought Duffy was an Aaron Marx in disguise.

Chic is being used. These others are up to something other than ghost hunting.

From the day he hatched, Chic’s life was at risk. He only survived because of his mother (Chic’s father would have ended Chic if not for Chic’s mother.) After that, he survived the journey from Unity to the Fitz; then all the stuff on the Fitz. After escaping all of that with his life intact, in spite of all the threats to it—Chic now has to put up with this…just trying to fit in to a “regular” social situation.
