Hahahah, MDM bombed out of college? (One wonders if he spent his last semester’s financial aid package on the billboards.) Well, all I have to say for that is … I’ll have a McFish sandwich, large fries and a medium drink, boy.

P1, And Marty heads to the bar. . .

P2, Why’s that, Gil? You normally don’t seem very interested in your job at all.

P3, Well, Robby/Bobby, being the next great coach at Milford High is out, talk radio is out, what else are you going to do besides being a perpetual student? (7 years of college down the drain!)

The common denominator in EVERY seasonal plot is money. Example. Where did couch fart sniffing Uncle Gary get his bread to eek out a survival at the Soto house? The putz was broke as a joke. Surely Howry did not fund his billboard campaign. Billboard advertising is not cheap. Marty looks befuddled by the constant hand jive GilPa has been giving him this week.

Wow, Neither one of them even mentioned Mimi. She was the catalyst for getting rid of the little jerk.

Gil should have tenure any year now and not have to worry about this kind of stuff

I guess the emphasis on JOB supposed to be taunting Marty. In this story, as in many others, Marty appears to be working a lot harder than Gil does.
