I personally am quite liking this story and looking forward to seeing where it will end. But I wish the commenters who don’t like it would just respect Mr. Wiley’s hard work and talent and STOP CRITICIZING.
The observation in Panel 3 has often been attributed to Mark Twain, but there’s no evidence he used those exact words in any of his writings. He did write something similar to that, tho. If you’re interested, here’s what Snopes has to say about it: http://tinyurl.com/yd2x4led
Conservative pundit George Will correctly points out that the modern Republican party isn’t a party so much as it is a cult—and members of cults are notoriously difficult to bring to their senses. Speaking of bringing people to their senses: any other newspapers bringing back “Non Sequitur”?
“It’s much easier to fool the people than it is to convince them they’ve been fooled”I just knew there was a Trumpian theme in here somewhere, it just took a while to come to light…
You’re kidding, sipsienwa, right? This is an awesome story! Cannot wait to see it all bound together in Wiley’s next book! But then, I also love actual books. Even the ones without pictures or porn.

“It’s much easier to fool people than it is to convince them that they’ve been fooled.”
Certainly true for about 40% of the American electorate.

Is Wiley looking for inspiration from G.R.R.M. for story length ?

“to sign a loyalty oath”. Very Trumpian.

This may be one of the longest story lines going but panel 3 made it worth the effort of reading it.

It’s a comic done by an artist with his own thoughts. Just go with it.

I notice the increase in the number of trolls here lately. Glad to see Wiley is increasing his site traffic.
by the way, nice touch with the Pepe the Frog…

Spoiler alert: The frog produces a top hat and cane, and breaks into “Hello, my baby”.

I’m sure there is some big Anti-Trump parable at the end of this. Very predictable and boring….
