I have an idea that will stop all unwanted pregnancies. When a Male reaches puberty, the government makes him get a vasectomy. After storing samples in a sperm bank. When he is ready to be come a father, the sperm will be there for him. No more unwanted pregnancies, cuts down on overpopulation and saves resources.

If you want to stop abortions, fund effective sex-education in the schools and increase access to contraception.

When men begin to carry and deliver babies, then and only then, do they have any say in what to do with any pregnancy.Keep your bans off women’s bodies.

It is a very good thing that We the People are responsible for making our own laws. If the people of New York have decided this, so be it.

Roe v. Wade firmly established the Constitutional right of Americans to the freedom of their own bodies. It has been the law for almost 50 years now.

I guess the principles of law & order can only be applied on a selective basis, depending on what your opinions are.

This topic is the right of the people of New York to govern themselves, and for these people to decide for themselves how their bodies function. For good or ill, we are a free people – despite the obstacles we have yet to overcome – and neither you or the Kremlin boys or somebody elses religion can take our freedom from us in the long run.

If you actually care about this issue, research it. Make sure you find an unbiased source and study it. Make decisions for yourself. Most of the stuff you see is WRONG.

If fewer abortions is what you actually want, you should do everything you can to make sure that birth control is available, cheap, and used. And, that people are educated about it. Otherwise, you are just LYING about it.

Ramirez strongly believes the church, not women, dictate who controls their body, and decides what and when life begins.

Per CDC numbers from 2015, “91.1% of abortions were performed at ≤13 weeks’ gestation; a smaller number of abortions (7.6%) were performed at 14–20 weeks’ gestation, and even fewer (1.3%) were performed at ≥21 weeks’ gestation.” The Late term abortions are VERY rare and done to protect life / health of mother or for fetal abnormalities. This is exactly what was put into NY law.

The law allows non-doctors to give the pills for medication abortion. Anti-choice people are trying to pass the BS that anyone will be allowed to perform a surgical abortion.

The anti-choice zealots are posting crazy lies about this law, just like they do with everything else involving abortion. One posted a picture of a healthy baby (at least a few weeks old) and the text claimed the baby was born at 12:05 but could have been “murdered” at 12:04. This is beyond ridiculous going into sick and twisted.

I am conflicted by abortion, I believe it is morally wrong at any stage. However I had to borrow $300 from a fellow church member to have my 3d child aborted. Marriage was failing anyway and we separated within a year. Cooperation saved our sons and the youngest is in IT @100K/year. P.S. I’ve been impotent ever since.

All it would take to make the law acceptable to 50+% of America is the addition of a single word.
