Since midsummer is the summer solstice, shouldn’t the spring equinox be the middle of spring, and not the beginning? Otherwise you have spring lasting only one and a half months.
Last week I was all bundled up so I could sit outside and watch the sunset. There is a small roof covering the garage doors. It was just warm enough that the snow on it suddenly broke loose and covered me with a wheelbarrow size load of snow. I wish I could share the pictures my wife took….it was funny. If there had been more snow I might have gotten hurt.
