Stage fright?

For some reason I have the phrase “fat quarters” running through my head. Which makes a kind of sense.

To the tune of “Strange Movie” by The Troggs. Which doesn’t.

I once saw a store for people that make rugs for a hobby.The sign on the side of the building stated, “This parking lot for hookers only.”

Quilters sometimes use pre-cut strips of fabric. Hence, the tee shirt saying"I’m a stripper and a hooker." (Hooker is for rug hookers who use strips of felted wool pulled up through a backing to make rugs.)

Betty needs to get a book or take a beginner’s class first.

I have the same reaction in book stores and fabric shops!

There’s a monster fabric store a few miles north, they’ve never had what I was looking for.

It seems like Bub’s more into it than she is. Interesting. Maybe he should take up quilting. I don’t think it would fit his self-image though.

A friend told me about a fabric store sign that added “Scream until your husband stops!”

What a good husband. Most men would find the bar first. And stay there.

The mind boggles…

the first quilt or two often comes out wonky. She has a good reason to want to slow down a bit and catch her breath before diving in.

“We”? I think someone watched a lot of youtube videos.

Wait a minute – something’s missing. Can’t quite put my finger on what it is… Oh yes, that’s it.

Where’s all the whining about how this guy is always a selfish jerk? All I hear is crickets. Or perhaps the sound of someone re-evaluating their prejudices – nah, that can’t be it.

I found lots of really nice fabric at thrift stores. I made a few silk items to give last Christmas
