This is an insult to parrots, who turn out to actually be very intelligent birds. Much smarter than the orange fake “human.”

Parrots are highly social, moving in large flocks in the wild, and in their need to communicate learn complex vocalizations. We now know that they can respond in context, not simply rote copying, and are highly expressive.

That said, no parrot would be so stupid as to think building a wall — using Second Century technology — could possibly work in a world of 21st Century technology. Today, people who want to come over will climb over, dig under, or ride boats around the wall. Oh, and most of them will simply fly over the wall.

The reality is that a majority of those in the country without documentation entered LEGALLY. They got on planes with VALID, legitimate, U.S.-issued visas — not forged or counterfeited — got on commercial jetliners and flew into this country from Europe or Asia, or they drove across the border from Canada or Mexico. They stopped at border checkpoints, presented themselves to border agents, showed VALID documents, and were welcomed in.

They came with TEMPORARY student or tourist visas. They entered legally. And when those TEMPORARY visas expired, they just didn’t go home. They just stayed.

Democrats already joined Republicans and passed over a billion dollars in funding for REAL border security to deal with today’s technology. TRUMP HAS NOT SPENT ANY OF IT YET, pounding the table in his pathetic, two-year-old tantrum demanding a wall (or a fence, or steel slats, or a speed bump, or a beaded curtain).

Let’s see some REAL action on border security, supported by Democrats, before any talk of a wall.

And, oh yeah, Trump PROMISED — “mark my words” — that MEXICO would pay for the wall. So what is all this shutdown crap? Get the pesos from Mexico first, before any talk of a wall.

I don’t believe Trump can keep a pet alive. He could have done that by staff, but even then it is absurd to assume that an emotional bond could be created between Trump and any living thing. That guy only loves himself.

That’s quite a “parroty” of DJT! Hannity’s support pet would be more like an old buzzard.

It’s a shame that we can’t have an American plan for border security based on the best concepts/consensus of conservative and liberal thinkers, but have to settle for a lesser Democratic/Republican plan which excludes their opponent’s ( and perhaps the majority of American’s) thinking.

Leaving aside for the moment the fact that Trump stated on multiple occasions that Mexico was going to pay for the wall, where does Trump get this $5 billion amount? The US/Mexico boarder is about 1,954 miles, which is about 10,317,120 feet. $5 billion works out to about $485 per foot. Taking in to account for the wall’s height and weight, will $485 per foot even pay for digging and pouring the footings/foundation?

Trump, as usual, is playing the blame game. Did he not say that he would be “proud to shutdown the government?” Did he not say that he would “own” it? Did he not say that Mexico would pay for the wall? Did his base and Fox news conveniently forget all this?

Trump, as usual, is playing a zero-sum game. There must be a winner and there must be a loser. Trump does not care how many people he hurts; he must win and therefore everyone else must lose.

So for him, Mexico is the enemy. They are part of the “mob” of rapists and murders that the ReTrumplicans warned us about during the campaign.

How about we make Mexico our ally instead? Let us work with them to establish camps with humane conditions at the border crossings: camps that they can police. How about sharing satellite and drone imagery with them? How about our law enforcement agencies and their law enforcement agencies working together?

How about, through these efforts, making Mexico a safer place to live so people won’t be fleeing? How about fighting the war on drugs on the Mexican side of the border?

This policy would be a lot cheaper than The Trump Memorial Maginot Line (which worked so well in stopping the Germans in 1940) or the Trump Memorial Berlin Wall (AKA “The Wall of Shame.”. It has the advantage of actually working and it would also be a win for everyone.

I wish someone would ask the trump just where he wants this “wall”. As I understand it there are segments of wall already.. But walls by definition have ends..Extending the ends still leaves ends.. just farther out. The trump says walls work.. well yes they do.. but only if you have the wall placed just where that desperate mother is trying to enter.

Duh.. the answer is a movable wall.. much like that old arcade / computer game of Pong. Build a train track.. place high speed segments of wall on it.. then zip those segments directly in front of said enemy… Could become a cool arcade kind of game.. heck… I’ll bet you could even make money from it by charging red-neck Americans to play.. watch the hoard approach via drones.. then outsmart them with the movable wall.. bouncing those suckers right back.
