He’s a drunk, rapist and perjurer, and he’s going to the Supreme Court. You think he’s being treated unjustly ? I think it’s “WE THE PEOPLE ” who are being treated unjustly. And WE are mad. Just wait for the next elections.

We, the people, didn’t want this morally challenged blowhard to be confirmed to the highest court in the land. Bad show, Ramirez.

Another nail in the coffin of democracy. Won’t be long before the WH press conference is replaced by Imperial decrees.

Once again we are reminded of the Clintons. Perjury, rape and out of control drinking are synonymous with the Clintons.

It was interesting listening to McConnell prior to the vote try to convince the democrats, any democrats except Manchin (he had no choice) to reverse their vitriolic opposition and vote for Kavanaugh. The problem was no matter what they actually thought of the judge, they could not. They had driven their leftist followers so bat guano crazy with their partisan battle that to do so would have resulted in a scene similar to the townspeople falling all over Frankenstein’s monster. They simply could not revert to any form of civility because they had so deeply backed themselves into a corner with their hateful rhetoric. A real shame. The senate, for all of its faults, used to be a civil body. The question is, can it recover? I’d wager not with its current occupants.

Politics today is a pendulum, Mr. Ramirez, the higher it swings one way…the higher it will swing the other way.

Perhaps if Obama had been given the right to pick a justice in his final year, instead of McConnell insisting he could not and would not, the left might be willing to play nice, but you reap what you sow these days.

No woman with any self respect will vote for a sexist Republican in November.

In addition to horrible things we know about Kavanaugh, he was instrumental in Bush 43’s signing statements. Remember those? Bush would sign a bill and then write a statement that said he could ignore the law if he wanted to.

With the advances in nanotechnology/quantum-computing technology, it may not be much longer that lies (especially under oath ) can go undetected … let them enjoy their Pyrrhic victory.

Major FAIL. Ramirez, if you were going to make this kind of comment, you could have at least gotten it right and had Kavanaugh stand in front of Article III. Because that’s the branch that’s going to have all the holes shot into it, with Kavanaugh on the bench. Disgusting, shameful, heartbreaking.

Well, thankfully the Democrats’ smears, thuggery, and attempts at intimidation by mob rule have come to naught. I met my wife when I was in the Peace Corps: she grew up under a third world dictatorship, and she despaired to see the way the Democrats and their rent-a-mobs were behaving. Contrast that with Susan Collins’ reasoned, respectful speech laying out the case for Justice Kavanaugh.

The Constitution also says that the Senate provides “Advice and Consent” on Supreme Court nominations. Merrick Garland.

This whole megillah has been a lying contest between lawyers and politicians – I don’t know who’s winning, but it is damn sure the American people are losing.

Sorry but the Great days if America are over. The Republican party has bought and paid for the very few and powerful voters in the Midwest. Montana the Dakotas and Wyoming hold more sway in the Senate than new York California and New Jersey. Trump is wrecking the economy and only bailing out his state voters with the new farm billThat is tyranny of the minority.
