    ah, the introduction of Ray.

    A freidn of mine was an MP in both wars. his battalion was three companys of regulars and one of reservists. The reservists (my friend’s company) were mostly NYPD. The battalion commander was to;d he needed to choose bodyguards. When he drew them from the reservists he was told that was hurting the feelings of the regulars. his response was ’yeah but these guys have already seen action and i want to live."
