Well Andy, that’s how the scales of fate go. Now go and get a beer. You will have either a stout story to tell or a bitter one, but a least it will be a wet one.

Now you know how your wife feels when she brings back extra cash from her job thanks to her hard work.

I was down in Alabama on the Gulf. Each person fishing had a friend, a crane, waiting for your bait or any fish that you caught. It was a long distance between the water and where you were fishing on the shore.

Sea birds have to eat too, you know!

A classic fish story: “it was at least a metre long! Then along came a hawk…no, no, it was an eagle…no, wait, a pteradactyl!!!”

I can’t join the merry choir here. I find this strip super depressing :-(

Although it appears to be nestled between two baseball fields, it actually is on a very tall pole in the woods next to the fields, as indicated by the shadow cast shown on Google maps.

Darn those pesky seagulls!

Unfortunately, I live in a seaside town so I see and hear em’ every day.

They are the most aggressive birds ever.

I’m off on a cruise to Norway next month. The Norwegian Fjords to be exact. Everybody says it’s beautiful. I haven’t been abroad for 14 years. I’ve only been to places in the UK.

Enjoy your cruise, young lady. I envy you.
