Marcie has been one of my favorite Peanuts characters over the years; she provides a nice counterpoint to Peppermint Patty’s personality. BTW, was Marcie’s last name ever mentioned in the strip?

PP is obviously an extrovert, and Marcie may be an introvert, which explains why she called PP Sir. Very uncertain of herself, but not necessarily a “Dork”.
