Sorry but the provocation of the North with our “training exercises” has been a bone of contention for a long time.Seems they delayed one a ittle while ago, but I’m sure Kim appreciates the fact Bolton is encouraging Trump to do a “Gadaffi” on him.

One madman with nukes is smarter than the other. The US comes out with the crappy end of the stick.

We bow in homage to the Charlie Brown and Lucy reference. And because this is exactly what North Korea has been doing with the rest of the world for the past 60+ years.

Kim’s play is to deny Glorious Leader his Nobel Prize – is that what GL sees, panics and cancels the military exercise? Point Kim. Or does GL show backbone, call the bluff, and say, “okay, no summit. Sad.” Will he announce on Twitter? Kim’s move was predictable so had GL gamed things out this far – to give himself time to explore both options in imagination prior to going down one road? Interesting time to be alive, yes?

I will reserve judgement until the summit. This could be just gamesmanship on both sides. I really doubt Trump will be able to pull it off because he is basically a real estate scam artist who thinks he is smarter than everyone else. Kim is just as bad and probably a lot more evil. It will be an interesting engagement but probably won’t resolve anything. I am afraid the Dumpster and Bolton will start another war and my grandkids will end up in the middle of it.

    I can’t stand this:

Clintonistas: Trump had nothing to do with North and South Korea getting together for a peace summit.

(North Korea threatens to pull our of peace talks)

    Clintonistas: ITS ALL TRUMP’S FAULT

Presuming that Kim’s spies are any good, he knew this joint exercise would happen about now and suckered both S. Korean and gullible Trump into committing to a deal that makes him appear to be the peace maker. S. Korea and Trump come off with egg on their faces and the war mongers. “The art of the Deal” indeed!

I hope when the time comes, whoever’s carrying the nuclear football will yank it away from Trump. If he does a pratfall in the process, that’s a bonus.

d_legendary1, the reason that Kim wanted to negotiate is because they had the nuclear accident which caused a mountain to collapse and then China increased sanctions. Therefore, nothing to do with Trump.

NK has a long history of negotiations to get sanctions eased and then they renege. This part is typical of NK, so that is not Trump’s fault.

US and SK are increasing military exercises as a show of force. Bolton is declaring that the US will do a Quaddafi on Kim. Trump has declared that NK will give up all of their nukes before a discussion even starts. All of those things ARE Trump’s fault.

Your “Clintonistas” junk ignores that there are facts and a thought process being used in those conclusions.

Five minutes later (after Trump tells the TV cameras “I never missed the football!”), Trump will try once more, Kim will pull it away once more. Five minutes later…..
