Ah…, Walter can see Portia crying. Is she crying for Foxworthy, or perhaps her brother? Either way, she is clearly not happy right now. So perhaps there’s hope for their relationship yet.
Sure am glad he has that rope. A fall from that height might be fatal. Silly Rats tied it around his neck. Shows their sad lack of skill in rope usage.;-)
No matter what else happens, the final result is going to be a greater fear and hatred of the rats. Freeman’s not going to get his hoped-for stability after this (just a calm-before-the-storm, at best).
But folks think Jacob ordered it for murder. The Rats will be hailed as good guys executing a pig killer. Thats why Gus said nothing about the Sedition issue per instruction. Its still going to fall apart but for now the Rats hold the upper level, the food, and the weapons. Jacob now knows the truth of Endtown……it will survive and does not care how many die to succeed.
Thats why i dont think of execution as a good thing. Judges can be bought, can be wrong can be misleaded. The argument “kill them all. God will sort them out” is plain cynical.

Hang em high….or to say it with Metallica: – “And justice for all…” – Who is the “Master of Puppets” and at last: “Kill em all” ;)

Oh, that’s why Portia was so adamant about Walter being there, she wanted a better view.

Interesting question: no one in the town has the right of pardon or commutation?

I believe a drop from that height would tear his head off – that would impress the crowd standing below…

Old Irish IRA song – “up the long ladder and down the short rope, to Hell with King Billy and God bless the Pope”.

He only has to drop the length of the rope. To do it properly, google “Official_Table_of_Drops”.

I wonder if Philo has the (Temerity) to just step off the ladder to his fate?
morgankhat about 6 years ago
I haven’t seen a noose around his neck…yet. Are they just going to push him off the stepladder?

Maybe this is the final test to prove if the human race mutated or not is worth saving.

Ooh, Wait!!! I bet Aaron drew this panel on April 1st.Monday, the Rats all say: “April Fools!! We were only kidding.”

When I look at the above panels I’m constantly reminded of the Rosenberg trials. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Julius_and_Ethel_Rosenberg
