It’s unlikely that the Chief knows what the Green Hornet is really up to.

The only “odd duck” I know is named Howard.

The odd duck may be….the narcissistic hair comber?

Or…..this oriental guy who seems to know a lot about hi-tec.

Careful… in this comic, he might even look like an odd duck.

It’s my fault chief;

1. I forgot bad guys sometimes carry weapons.

2. I forgot to call for backup.

3. I forgot not to gloat until the handcuffs are on.

4. I forgot not to get distracted.

5. I forgot not to have a useless partner.

6. I forgot not to ignore my own weapon when attacked.

An odd character in this strip? How unusual…LOL

I really like the noir feel of today’s artwork. The contrast between light and shadow is outstanding.

I can’t think of a time the artwork hasn’t been superlative.

An odd duck, ehh, Chief Patton? Maybe “duck-tail” hairstyle? Have to look again at what Johnny sports. He would qualify as odd, I think. But his presence or absence at the recent events at the Jarman residence is still something of a loose end.

I suppose Pat could be referring to an entirely new (or at least different) character, whom we have not yet met in this story, but that might not be economical story-telling….
