Kids! Whatyagonnado? If it’s not being upset about dead classmates, it’s challenging older, wiser, and better Americans! Tide pods! Condoms! Gun violence! The Holy Trinity of Paternalistic Cartooning!
Steve Kelly apparently assumes all children imitate the actions and responses of his own children. He also seems to assume it is acceptable to degrade and marginalize those of us who actually believe from experience and example that guns really are dangerous.
Regressives wave red herrings, they ridicule, deny, and lie. They don’t have the right answer to anything because problems are solved by thinking and thinking is for “elitist, leftist intellectuals.”
Steve Kelley is a Dartmouth grad, as is Laura Ingraham. I wondered if they knew each other there, since their views seem to be so similar, but they didn’t overlap. However, there are always the alumni organizations…
Kelley, there are people that do stupid things and people that do great things in every generation. To denigrate the victims of a school shooting (YES, the survivors are victims even if they were not shot) by saying some idiots eat Tide pods is shameful.
I wonder at what age Steve Kelley considers someone to be an ‘adult’?
And I wonder, how long would it take to find similar Tide Pod Eating, Condom Snorting behavior from folks in that group?
Yeah, there’s some stupid kids out there. Just like they’re are some stupid adults. But I don’t think that they’re the ones standing up, speaking out and stepping forward. Settle down, Steve.
The toon is wrong, these trogs for Trump already have their AR-15s, and their post would be that guns aren’t dangerous, ’cause in the hands of brilliance like theirs, “accidental discharges” never happen or kill people.
^ No, there should never be any laws whatsoever limiting people’s right to text and drive at the same time. That would be contrary to the First Amendment.
THEMMCHUCK, there are laws in place that restrict texting and using cell phones while driving. There is work being done on cars that would disable cell phones while driving. Therefore you just proved the point that guns need to be restricted. Stopping the sale of military style weapons is a great start.

Way to go, Kelley! Ridicule those who object to school shootings! [ @CESSNA172 should have included you in the “idiot” category! ]

Those kids should be learning CPR, and how pull a bullet out with their teeth, and how to dodge bullets “Matrix” style.

If we were going to judge an entire generation by their stupid actions we would have to write off Kelly’s.

Person A does something stupid, so that discredits person B. Good argument, Kelley.

Identical to Stiglich’s cartoon today – I guess they both got the same mandate on the propaganda message for the day.

Sometimes we would get high before we went out to protest the Vietnam War.
History proves that we were correct.

I’d guess that the kids who take up serious concerns like not getting shot at school are not the same ones doing the silly and reckless stuff.

It’s the standard conservative approach to gun control:
No gun control method will ever be perfect, so we shouldn’t even bother having gun control.
No child is perfect, so we should never listen to their opinions or feelings about their friends being shot and killed.

Remember, when you see cartoons like this, they’re almost certainly produced by a member of the generation that made the Pet Rock a bestseller.
