Alix is not a patient girl; she’ll probably forget the question when Val wakes up at her own time.

The answer is “NO!”

My kids always knew that waking a sleeping mom was NOT a good thing…….unless it was a real emergency.

Mom you should not better, pay attention to Alix.

This is why it’s good I didn’t have children. I would have no patience for this.

If you wake mom you may not like the answer.

As I have always said: “Children, like fine wines, should be kept in a cool, dark place until sufficiently mature.”

I try not to get too annoyed when my daughter crawls on me and wants my constant attention, because I know the day will come when the last person she wants to hang with is her dorky old Mom. And I will miss her.

In my case, I always have enjoyed when she asks questions, I found is the perfect opportunity to talk about something she is interested, I learned from her, her point of view, and she from mine.I always have been in the mood to answer questions, even after a terrible exhausting day, since she was able to talk. Now she is in her late teens; even also they can google the answer, we discuss the results and have fun finding which answers are biased, which ones are false and which ones have good sources.
