Being off the scene is to Bribery’s disadvantage. He either does not know what originally happened to Moon Maid. Must have been out of town and out of the country.

An incorrect – and potentially disastrous – assumption on Bribery’s part.

Sawtooth must have already reported Tracy’s death to Bribery. Wait till he hears the news from Ugly Crystal :)

If they are successful in taking Mysta, Honeymoon would likely try to rescue her. If during the rescue Honeymoon toasts Bribery, it could lead to the end of a beautiful friendship and make Bribery a very proud uncle.

This is getting interesting real quickly, now. Bribery’s ring (from 9/14/15) could put Mysta under his thrall, but how would the Moon Governor and Posey Ermine react to this? If they are trailing Honeymoon to get to Mysta, there might be a conflict of interest between them and Bribery. And if Bribery does think Tracy’s out of the picture, and if he believes that Ghote & Sail are bringing him the Coupe, that will definitely work against him.

The wildcard I see will be Crystal. Will she help out her uncle or her friend Honeymoon? Like I said, interesting.

So Bribery thinks this is his crew with the stolen Space Coupe not knowing they’re really residing somewhere near Jupiter’s Great Red Spot?

Tell Mr. Bribery that no matter how far he sticks his neck out for them (pretty far, according to his first panel), he’s not going to bring back Dr. Sail and Dr. Ghote. Sawtooth may be in for a shock when he tries to kidnap Mysta. Of course, Mr. Bribery could supply him with that secret weapon that guards against those shocks.

Those who do not remember the past are condemned to repeat it.Bribery needs to recall the last time he tried to kidnap Honeymoon (1965). It was a shocking experience, after which he nearly froze to death.

You’d think Bribery would be smart enough to get a confirmation on Tracy’s death before he moves to stage two of his operation.

Now, remember that Bribery asked T-Bolt to find Posie on 12/2/17. I would assume he fits into Bribery’s plan once he has Mysta. I wonder if T-Bolt will soon be asked how that search for Posie is going…

For all his conniving, Bribery can be really stupid, sometimes.

Apparently Bribery never asked Sawtooth for any confirmation of Tracy’s demise, & Sawtooth has not been monitoring the news to see if there are any stories about A) Tracy being missing & police searching for him or B) Tracy’s body being found. Lucky for us the bad guys keep messing up.

It would not be too much of a stretch to compare Mr. Bribery with Plastic Man! What a neck! The Rose knows! Unfortunately for the Crime Boss, his faulty intel and equally faulty assumptions are likely to scuttle his devious plan for the kidnapping of Mysta “Moon Maid” Chimera.

This story is coming together (so far, at least) as one of Team Tracy’s best. A lot hinges on how the budding friendship between Honeymoon Tracy and Crystal (most people call her Ugly Crystal) plays out when the chips are down. I hope Crystal does not go over to the Dark Side….

I’m going to stick my neck out (sorry) and say that the Moon Governor (MG), will be a major hero in this thread. Mysta, and Honey are unskilled in their abilities, but MG cartainly isn’t. I also think MG and Mysta needs some closure. She has certainly redeemed her former self, (both instory, and with the readers), and has become quite a beloved character. Remember that MG lost a daughter, but Mysta could be someone who could help him, and his wife to heal finally. That does seem to be within Mysta’s abilities, since she helped Junior, and Honey.

I don’t know what the future will bring but I’m hoping far better than Junior’s former wife did.
