More worrisome, because the last time Stanley tried this, he ended up with 4 patents and a novel.

A device to extract surplus blood sugar to make candy.

A device that collects and recycles all the natural gas over Washington DC from fulminating politicians,

I think Stanley may be making a bold move here. Oh sure, he’ll get the usual assortment of juvenalia: “Go pick this.” and “Why don’t you take a long walk off a short pier?” But maybe, as FARSIDE99 says above, he’ll find a rose or three amid the thorns.

Yes but what if nobody leaves any ideas at all this time….

    or ever again?

Did Stanley credit the idea-leavers last time, or share the profits …OK, presumed (in some circles) future profits…. of his patents?

    NO, he did not.

So maybe now he’ll discover that he’s truly on his own.

And… well… we all know the caliber of the ideas Stanley comes up with on his own.

    And it isn’t pretty.

i’ll leave one……..“go jump in the Lake Stanley!” Your neighbors are sick and tired of your shenanigans. First the “Ask me” Box and now this? What’s next, the “Leave money here” box?

    Cease and Desist Sir!

JP Steve…. Actually, at first, Stanley had just a kitchen chair sitting out there with the sign on it.

Scraps of paper were blowing all over the neighborhood….

in fact Scooter found and used one of the ideas… something having to do with roller skates….

    and very few reached Stanley.

The box was just one of several ideas suggested by a neighbor.

    (The others were anatomically impossible.)

    ROSE! You keep disappearing.

    Glad to see you back.

    But are you OK?

Clearly, someone has stolen all the ideas. :)
