And people thought ordering in was a waste of time.

I remember a bit from 1990s TV show “Family Matters” where Waldo Geraldo Faldo walks in the drive-through of the fast-food resturant where Steve Urkel works.

My dad once tried to order from a drive thru by standing in front of it. I forget if he was successful.

McDonalds in the UK has a rule against serving horse riders in their drive-through. Horse riders are considered “vulnerable road users” by government road safety advice. All of the noises and stressors of a drive-through environment can cause a horse to panic, with no safe escape route, so they’ve ruled against it.

I’ll admit, I didn’t think there was an actual rule!

A pedestrian with a golf club should be allowed in the drive-through.

Unhappy with the attendant? Play the song “VROOOM VROOOM” (all caps correct) by King Crimson and give the attendant a massive headache.

The drive-thru speaker at restaurant I worked at would only be activated by the metal sensor under the speaker. Better hope Marigold is wearing horseshoes.

The sign says “Drive Thru”. You don’t drive a unicorn Phoebe.

Maybe it would help if Mari put on her roller skates. Then she’d have wheels.

I wonder if anybody – or anypony – ever rode a horse (or pony) through a drive-through?

I remember one time when I walked up to my banks drive through window to make a depsit and they tried to refuse me service. I pointed out to the teller that I needed to make a small deposit or my rent check would bounce, the lobby was already closed, and the ATM was check only, no cash. the teller finally decided to let me make my deposit in spite of the fact that I wasn’t in a car.

In Texas, at least, this totally works. The employees really got a kick out of it, too.
