    The welcome mat is out for all homicidal dictators. Who says Donnie Dumpster doesn’t still have role models for his dreams?

    After he has killed all the addicts and dealers, and a full load of innocents in the process, and people’s lives are no better than they were before, who is he going to blame?

    We’ve had 242 years to augment job qualifications for our representatives and president to avoid having objectionable people in office. Our government is supposed to be for the people, not just the wealthy, or corporations. The political parties have evolved into de facto mutually exclusive entities that only represent specific segments of the population, not all the people as described in the Constitution and by the founders. By not caring about who is running our country and how it is being run we are complicit in its current dysfunction by our failure to elevate the job criteria for our representatives and president.

    Having long ago read all the books in “The Chronicles of Narnia,” and being impressed by its references to classical mythology and English folklore, I can’t help but think of Trump as a twisted king who consorts with evil supernatural forces and strives to enlist the aid of evil creatures such as Cruels, Efreets, Ettins, Ghouls, Hags, Ogres, Spectres, Wraiths. Maybe through séances he calls up the spirits of past dictators to take their advice, as I often think he has taken on in particular the speaking mannerisms of Mussolini. And he has the creepy habit of clapping for himself at political rallies as did Stalin, Khrushchev, and Mao. There is a visible darkness creeping over the world among so many leaders, both secular and religious, that it almost seems to be fulfilling ancient prophecies. (cue the theremin)

    Does anyone here besides me read fantasy and Sci Fi? Rachel Aaron’s “Heartseekers” suggests that Dragons are among us trapped in Human form by the disappearance of Magic. Dragons are vain, self-serving and bullying …. sound like anyone you might know of?

    ADVICE to DUTERTE {Keep Better Company} – {a limerick}

    Be careful, President Duterte:

    Reputations can get purty dirty

    when company is kept

    with a prez so inept

    that with tyrants he’s giddily flirty.

    TRUMP AS EMCEE – {a rhyme}

    My generation {I’m eighty} won’t see

    our nation arise from the choking debris

    of our waning-days’ era, -

    - of its atmosphere, a

    Rightwing circus with Trump as emcee.

    DISCOURAGED – {1.20 limericks and an image}

    He begged, he beseeched, he urged:

    “Of the Right be my nation purged,

    and please be The Donald submerged

    in his swamp’s putridity,

    with all its stupidity.

    Otherwise, I’m yuugely {discouraged} discour’ged.”

    UP THE CREEK – {a rhyme}

    Trump presides from inside his bubble,

    not aware that he doubles the trouble

    of our nation and world

    into which he has hurled

    his bufoonish schtick.

    We’re up Sh.t {Creek} Crick,

    badly paddled

    by a prez who is addled.

    But has anybody asked Andrew Jackson or Frederick Douglass for their takes on these treacherous modern times? Or are they just kinda busy?

    Trump probably admires and is jealous of this guy. Duterte will probably alpha Trump because Trump aspires to that toxic masculinity.

    And Trump said he would be “Honored” to meet with Kim the Turd!And it will be a GREAT propaganda tool, bigly used, to show the world how easy it is to lead Trump around by his nose!Unless, of course, someone else talks to Trump while AF1 is in the air!Then it will be “Bombs Away!”

    Odd that all you liberals didn’t complain when Obama said he would meet with the same man without preconditions. This is because the left doesn’t have principles that they stand by except to disagree with the other side no matter what. Wake up.
