Neighbor’s peeking out the window. Neighbor’s apartment is dark. Neighbor knows something, maybe.

Food shortage…….blame the pigs. Sure that elephant just eats a small portion. Wolves are very light eaters. Pig Lives Matter!

Does this remind anyone of the Nazi’s Kristalnacht attack on the Jews? (Look this up if you didn’t learn about it in school!) With recent attacks on Muslim temples and Jewish cemetaries, this comic is sadly entirely too timely.

I suspect there is a firebrand or ringleader behind the targeting of “pigs” who will be revealed soon enough.

Hope we haven’t seen the last of Wally and Kirby, I can live with Holly gone to a better fate, but not the prior two. It was bad enough losing Flask/Blackie.

It doesn’t have to be this way. Marx can open channels to other communities and other realities to import food and trade. Unless this reality is quarantined totally. The Lucranians aren’t allowed to salvage it, but if Marx is allowed to do as much as he has for the greater good, what’s to stop him from doing the greatest good? Is what he’s done already illegal and anything more would attract attention? So what if it does? The mutations are limited to this reality (and its parallels), so the other realities don’t have to worry about the mutations being contagious. According to Edmund, they’re not really contagious in this reality. The only good reason extrareality agencies would want to keep this reality contained is if they are the cause of its problems and are trying to cover it up.

The End was just a pebble. Its ripples may send tsunamis through the realities. Maybe the greater good is to sacrifice this reality to prevent a greater interreality war. Or maybe the greater good is to cause one.

    Can’t change human nature.

Can’t legislate it. Can’t outlaw it.

Every time I see Walt, I’m thinking Henry Blake from TV’s MASH.
