I think that Topsiders probably are divided in many many tiers. Like – at the top there could be science guys (or women) who try to get to the bottom of it all, understand it better (multiverse), revert it, etc. Maybe even they are working in “secret” so that real leaders wouldn’t know about it. Then there are probably maniac leaders that spins up a propaganda to gain something, and then there are lower tier, that just gets the propaganda and acts on it, truly believing there is really a mutagenic airborne disease.
I tried to change the brightness, to see if there is any “extra” spicy detail in the darkness.. Not really.. oh well, but at least the eye is more clearly visible being in room.
