Doesn’t take much to make a dog happy….

`The hat in the mouth is dog-talk for" Take me for walkies, or else I’ll poop on the bedspread".

And smarter than any smartphone.

I love the look on the dog’s face in all the panels….

The dog knows something we choose to willfully ignore – spending most of the time with gadgets isn’t good for our mental and physical health.

My daughter had a husky. That’s just about what he did. He’d put his paws on my shoulders and his head on my head until I got the message. His “walkies” were at least a couple of hours

Can this be a rare crossover appearance of Homer and Duncan?

Yes, Wiley should do this more often to take our minds off politics once in a while. Well, he does have others

Idyllic… but half the people I see walking dogs in my neighborhood are paying more attention to their cell phone screens than to the dog or the scenery…

Wiley, this speaks to me. I just lost my husband, and my dog pulls me out of the murk of social media and into real life. She s the one who takes ME for “walkies.”

A nice touch would have been if the hat had said “Make America Great Again”.

Bush-I told us: “KNOW new taxes!” Bush-II told us: “I declare war on TERRA!” Trump told us: “I’ll make America GRATE again!” We gotta READ the script, folks!

Dogs = angels with paws. One of the joys of my hikes west of Boulder is simply walking by other hikers with their ecstatic dogs.

To not be moved one would have to be a rock. (Or, be watching too much TV)

And then some.

I sometimes wear a non-working ear thingie when I walk my dog. I do my best thinking when I say things out loud, and this way people assume I’m on my phone instead of just batty. (Probably AM batty, but I don’t like to broadcast the fact!)

You hit the nail right on the head! I luckily have TWO mobile devices, who keep me pretty busy!

But, but outside is where bad things happen. Come, stay inside where it is safe and consume our news so that you know what to fear next.

My new pup has figured out what the leash is for and where to find it. He has also figured out that if he drops it down the metal steps from the roof terrace to the floor below, when I’m on the computer, that he’ll get my attention.

Our dog takes both my wife and me out for a walk. She walks him and I get to pick up the poop. Just which one is the master in this relationship?
