Throw in a shot of rum, and I’ll give you a buck.

Katy has no idea how much work, time and money a pony really is. Plus it’s a creature with emotional needs, so not just a toy to be picked up or put down as you want.

I think it’s great! I only hope she’s aware of things like stable fees….

A horse/pony is a hole in the backyard in which to pour money. Shoeing, vet bills, feed, vaccinations, etc. Then you have to clean up after them every day. That didn’t keep me from having them for more than 60 years, though!

I used to give riding lessons. Every child had to go catch their horse, groom it, clean out it’s feet, tack it up, then take a half hour riding lesson, then untack the horse, hose it down, check it’s feet again, put it away and clean it’s stall. I told parents that if they still wanted a horse after a few months of that, then they at least knew what horse ownership entailed.

Wouldn’t a hot chocolate stand make more sense?

Yuck. But I have seen places that serve hot lemonade. I would never drink it, though. Here’s a thought, Katy: How about a hot tea stand? Actually, know what else you might profit from? In many cases, people would be buying it out of pure curiosity. But then people might fall in love with it. Heat up some Dr. Pepper with cinnamon sticks in it. It’s really good! My family used to just heat up the soda and pour it over the cinnamon stick but we found it’s more flavorful if you heat it up with the sticks already in it. Very good! Anyone reading this who hasn’t tried it, give it a whirl this winter!

We could use that lemonade right now here in the Coachella Valley, and in all of Southern California for that matter.

Dont knock it until you have tried it.

    Good stuff!

    Even without the alcohol.

She would be better off selling hot coco or mulled cider.

Served with a shot of Vodka, and she’ll do well.
