I was at A&J.com just before I came here, and yes, it does explain the coast folks for newcomers.

But it doesn’t answer why Gene’s hair is now yellow. Did I miss something?

It basically tells new readers who Gene and Mary Lou are…but it also answers a couple of questions some people debate in this forum.

What I want to know is, though…to whom is Mary Lou sending that tweet?In the next panel she tells Gene in person.

I guess maybe she’s inviting the public cos the fellow with the guitar case has agreed to play music…but did she just decide to sell burgers, too?Did they ever build the little bistro?

She is sending out a tweet to the farm’s twitter followers.

Hmm… I was thinking the backstory was going to be about “#rockthetomatoes Burgerz” … meaning the rock fellow. Not about Luann, Gene, and Gus.

Thanks Jimmy! I knew who everyone was but didn’t know about your site! Been reading your strip for a few years now! :-) If my memory serves me correctly, didn’t you start out at Comics.com I think it was called and then Universal bought them out and brought them here to gocomics??

So she is doing some kind of Social Media thing? I thought she was reading something that the musician handed her.

Slight problem with picking the coast of your choice. In one episode, Gene almost talked Mary Lou into a ‘3 hour drive’ to Tennessee to get married.SO, your coast of choice has to be within a 3 hours drive of Tennessee.
